Numbers for the fiscal year 2023, released by the Department of Homeland Security, show 3,201,144 encounters at the border – an increase of 400% on President Trump’s last year in office.

Figures also show that 169 migrants were featured on the FBI’s terror watch list, which is the highest number ever recorded and more than the previous six years combined. The New York Post documented the arrival of hundreds of migrants, almost all male, into New York via Westchester County Airport – also under the cover of night. Investigation of flight data by the Post furthermore uncovered the quiet transport of around 2,000 migrants into White Plains airport over a period of two months.

While most analysts and commentators who agree Biden’s open border is a conscious policy decision are puzzled by the reason, others suggest it is a deliberate strategy to lower wages and push back working conditions.
