(ProsperNews.net) – Fox News host Jesse Watters said the case against Donald Trump in New York, in which he was fined more than $355 million, stemmed from political corruption and was pursued by an Attorney General who colluded with the White House. A single judge, Arthur Engoron, imposed the fine and banned Trump, and two of his sons, from operating businesses in the Empire State for three years. Watters described Engoron as a “strange guy” and “judge nudy,” because he “takes nude gym selfies.”
New York Attorney General Letitia James, Watters claimed, had visited the White House three times before bringing the charges. James, furthermore, campaigned for office on a promise to prosecute Donald Trump, and then laid charges that had never been used in this capacity before. Watters explained that the legislation was intended to protect people from being swindled in property transactions or similar, but in Trump’s case, nobody had ever complained of their business dealings with the former President, who was found to have over and undervalued his properties and other assets.
The implication of White House involvement in Trump legal cases is not limited to New York and similar allegations surround the former President’s prosecution in Georgia. Attorney Nathan Wade, implicated in an improper relationship and corruption scandal with Fulton County DA Fani Willis, also attended the White House and met with Oval Office attorneys. The DA’s office paid Wade almost $650,000 and invoices for those payments reveal the White House consultations. The invoices show that Mr. Wade charged $2,000 for “Conf with White House Counsel” in May 2022, and “interview with DC/White House” the following November.
DA Willis has come under intense scrutiny over allegations she was involved in a romantic relationship with Wade, and denies that the relationship began prior to his involvement in the Trump case. During a recent investigation hearing, an ex-friend testified that Willis was lying and claimed the relationship dated back as far as 2019.
