Vance Excluded from Pittsburgh Restaurant Campaign; Harris Welcomed

(ProsperNews.net) – Senator JD Vance’s campaign hit a snag recently when he was turned away from a well-known Pittsburgh-area restaurant, Primanti Bros., despite having supporters waiting inside. The incident happened at a location in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, where Vance had planned to greet local supporters.

Vance and his team were reportedly asked to leave by restaurant employees who claimed that the establishment was “not a campaign stop,” and even threatened to call the police if the group didn’t leave. This abrupt decision led to boos from Trump-Vance supporters, who had gathered for the event. Ironically, just a month earlier, Kamala Harris’s campaign was allowed to visit another Primanti Bros. location in Moon Township, where they hosted a private event, much to the frustration of local patrons.

Back in August, Harris’s visit also stirred up complaints from customers who were asked to leave the restaurant early to accommodate the vice-presidential candidate and her entourage. Some locals had expressed their irritation at being forced out, particularly since they were hoping for a quiet afternoon meal. Videos from that day showed Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, meeting guests, which led some to accuse the campaign of hiring actors to fill the dining room.

Despite the awkward situation with Vance, his campaign didn’t let it spoil the day. Vance met with his supporters outside the restaurant, where he shook hands, posed for photos, and even joked about Trump’s proposal to eliminate taxes on tips. Before leaving, Vance made sure to pay for everyone’s food and gave a generous tip to the restaurant staff, reminding his supporters to continue supporting the local business.

Primanti Bros. later clarified the incident, stating that Vance’s visit was unplanned, which led to confusion among their staff. They emphasized that they welcome political figures from all sides and expressed relief that the situation was resolved quickly. Vance, for his part, took the situation in stride, focusing on connecting with his supporters.
