Trump Plans Military Action to Address Biden’s Border Policies

(ProsperNews.net) – President-elect Donald J. Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to using military forces as part of his border security and deportation plans. On Monday, Trump shared his support on Truth Social by amplifying a post from Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, that suggested the military would be pivotal in executing a mass deportation program. Trump’s simple, one-word response—“TRUE!!!”—left no doubt about his intentions.

Fitton’s post referenced reports that Trump’s administration may declare a state of emergency to enforce border security measures and facilitate widescale deportations. During a September press conference in California, Trump underscored his plan, declaring, “We’re going to have the largest deportation in the history of our country.” He specifically mentioned targeting areas like Springfield and Aurora for initial operations.

According to a source within Customs and Border Protection (CBP), who spoke on condition of anonymity, preparations for such efforts are already underway. Recent actions by the Mexican government, including restricting the infamous migrant freight train system known as La Bestia, have significantly reduced crossings. This, the source claims, frees up Border Patrol agents to assist in the anticipated deportation efforts.

The use of military personnel to bolster border security is not unprecedented. In 2006, President George W. Bush deployed 6,000 National Guard troops to the southern border as part of a $2 billion security initiative. These soldiers performed support duties—such as staffing observation posts and assisting at Border Patrol stations—to allow Border Patrol agents to focus on enforcement. Trump’s plan is expected to follow a similar strategy, with military troops acting as “force multipliers” to maintain control in border regions while Border Patrol agents join Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) teams in deportation operations.

The CBP source explained that while military personnel may not be visible in urban areas rounding up undocumented immigrants, their presence on the border would allow ICE and Border Patrol agents to extend their reach across the country. “What you might see is a large contingent of Border Patrol agents supporting ICE while soldiers keep a lid on what is going on in border cities,” the source said.

Many Border Patrol agents reportedly welcome the plan. Agents are eager to address what they describe as the damage done during the Biden administration’s open-border policies and look forward to assisting in mass deportation operations.

Trump’s promise of the “largest deportation in the history of our country” marks a stark shift from the policies of the Biden administration. With Trump preparing to take office, his plans signal a dramatic escalation in immigration enforcement efforts aimed at reshaping the nation’s approach to border security.
