Trump Crushes Record with Herculean Stamina After Attack

(ProsperNews.net) – Donald Trump set a new record with a 92-minute speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. His supporters say the former President exhibited intense strength with the speech, which he delivered just days after surviving an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Reporter Norah O’Donnell noted some of Trump’s longest addresses on Twitter, including his speech at the GOP convention 2016, which lasted one hour and fourteen minutes, and his 2020 acceptance speech, which ran for one hour and ten minutes.

Mr. Trump’s aides reportedly rewrote much of his Convention speech after the attempted assassination to refocus on American unity. This resulted in just one mention of President Biden throughout the 92 minutes, compared to the 40 times Biden featured in Trump’s 2020 acceptance address. While many expected a new approach by a former President reportedly changed by the Pennsylvania shooting, Trump retained his usual casual style and frequently veered off script.

While Donald Trump holds the record for the longest Convention speech in history, President William Henry Harrison delivered the longest inaugural address in 1841. That speech lasted more than two hours. At 68, Harrison was the oldest President then and remained so until Ronald Reagan’s Presidency commenced in 1981. Throughout his lengthy speech, Harrison described the US Constitution and his responsibilities under its provisions. Historians say he wrote the speech himself, but an aide insisted on editing it, at least in parts.

In his most recent address, Donald Trump spoke off-script for over an hour in Michigan after thanking his Vice Presidential pick, JD Vance, and describing him as a fighter for working people. Trump soberly addressed the attempt on his life and said it was “only by the grace of almighty God” that he was still alive and able to continue the 2024 White House battle.

Attendees at the Michigan event told reporters they were uneasy about the possibility of another violent incident but felt a greater need to support the former President.
