(ProsperNews.net) – Donald Trump said Hunter Biden’s criminal conviction is a mere distraction and acts as a veil over more serious Biden family offenses. Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt added that “Biden Family Criminal Empire” operations will halt on November 5, and President Biden will never again be able to “sell government access for personal profit.”
Investigations into Biden family business affairs, conducted by the Republican-led House Oversight Committee, have uncovered evidence of substantial financial receipts by the Bidens from numerous foreign entities, including companies with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Among these is a subsidiary of CEFC China Energy Co., State Energy HK Limited, which is believed to have funneled cash to several Biden family members, including a $3 million payment that was divided between four Bidens, including Hunter Biden and the President’s brother, James.
CEFC chairman Ye Jianming retained attorney Hunter Biden on a $1 million contract, and gifted him a diamond valued at around $80,000.
The Oversight Committee probe also highlighted transactions between the Bidens and several other foreign companies, including Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and Kazakhstan. It found that President Biden received monthly payments from Owasco PC, which was on the payroll of several Chinese bodies, and that he spoke with Hunter Biden’s business associates on at least 22 occasions.
Last December, the Committee, chaired by Republican James Comer, produced a report in partnership with the Ways and Means and Judiciary Committees that noted “deviations” in Justice Department investigations into Hunter Biden’s conduct, which it claimed were subject to political “interference.”
Additionally, testimony from several officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) claimed that the DOJ had tried to prevent Special Counsel David Weiss from investigating Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden was found guilty on federal charges of unlawful weapons possession after lying on federal documents and claiming he was not using drugs when he purchased a revolver in 2018.
