Tomi Lahren Appears To Mock Kid Rock After Bud Light Fiasco

(ProsperNews.net) – Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren appeared to mock musician Kid Rock after he was caught drinking Bud Light while simultaneously supporting its boycott. Lahren tweeted, “A dude drinking Bud Light says…my wife wears the pants. I said what I said.”

While the presenter didn’t mention Kid Rock specifically, she made the remarks after fans saw the musician sipping a tin of Bud Light at a concert in Nashville. Robert James Ritchie, who is known as Kid Rock, caused a storm online back in April when he fired a gun at a box of Bud Light amid a boycott of the beer’s maker, Anheuser-Busch.

The St. Louis-based brewer signed transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to advertise its beer and lost billions in market value in the ensuing outrage. Mulvaney is condemned by conservatives and women’s groups as pushing a dangerous gender radicalism and mocking women in the process.

Rock shared a video of the shooting on social media and it went viral, breathing oxygen into the already vibrant boycott campaign.

Now the star may be embarrassed to have been seen drinking a can of the very beer he so aggressively denounced. Images of him sipping his Bud Light swept across social media platforms and brought an avalanche of mockery to the singer.

Twitter users asked whether he had “gone woke” and changed his views. Some called him a hypocrite, while others suggested the photo had been altered. Kid Rock did not respond to the online activity.

Anheuser-Busch suffered a blow in the early days of the boycott but there are signs of recovery. A Deutsche Bank survey revealed that only 3% of consumers report that they will not buy Bud Light in the next three to six months – down from 18% of the height of the crisis.

The brewer seems to have learned from the boycott and produced adverts for its beers, including Budweiser, that harked back to the classic American theme. Some beer drinkers however said it was too little, too late.
