(ProsperNews.net) – The British Royal family has ended months of speculation about the whereabouts of the Princess of Wales with the announcement that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Kate Middleton, wife of future King Prince William, disappeared from public view after Christmas, prompting conspiracy theories online suggesting she had left the family or even that she had died. In a recent announcement, however, the Princess publicly shared that she had undergone abdominal surgery, during which cancer was discovered.
The diagnosis comes just six weeks after the King announced he, too, is suffering from the disease. Additionally, Sarah, the Duchess of York, announced her skin cancer diagnosis in January. The Duchess is the ex-wife of disgraced Prince Andrew, son of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and father of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Queen Elizabeth stripped her son of his Royal titles and roles following accusations that he had abused trafficked teenage girls along with former friend Jeffrey Epstein.
The Princess of Wales asked that she and her family be left to focus on her recovery in private, adding that she would return to public duty as soon as she is able.
In separate revelations, British media reports claim that the Royal family did not tell Prince Harry about Kate’s diagnosis because they no longer trust them. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told UK tabloid The Sun that Harry and his American wife Meghan Markle have caused “endless problems” for the Royals, and news of Kate’s health problems were deliberately kept from them. “They can’t be trusted,” he added.
Prince Harry, who stepped down from his formal Royal role in 2020 and moved to California, is estranged from his family after accusing them of racism during an interview with Oprah Winfrey and for publishing a tell-all memoir in which he gave away some potentially embarrassing family secrets. The Prince condemned the ancient British institution of the Monarchy, which he said had left him lonely and traumatized.
