(ProsperNews.net) – Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene lashed out at Joe Biden’s latest campaign ad and urged the President to “be honest.” The Georgia Representative features heavily in the new ad, where she is shown apparently praising White House economic policy at a recent Turning Point USA event in Florida. However, the President’s team had edited a clip of the speech to make it appear Taylor Greene was promoting his policies. The President posted the clip on Twitter with the caption, “I approve this message.”
In the edited video, Taylor Greene states that Biden’s administration is responsible for the largest public investment in social infrastructure, including education and environmental programs. However, in the unedited version, which Taylor Greene posted in response to the President’s tweet, she said Biden is “attempting to complete socialism” and in doing so, has caused the nation to fall into debt to the tune of $32 trillion.
She further said the Biden administration has overseen record inflation, and the world is losing the US dollar as its premium currency. She added that the greatest security threat facing America today is its open border – a problem that has gotten steadily worse under Joe Biden.
Much to Taylor Greene’s annoyance, the President’s ad was approved online, with more than 40 million views. Biden’s stunt even won the praise of some Republicans. For example, former RNC Chairman Micheal Steele described it as “political perfection,” while Twitter users generally felt Biden had “owned” the Georgian Congresswoman.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is a staunch pro-Trump Republican who makes no secret of her contempt for President Biden. The Georgian is one of those who loudly heckled the President during his State of the Union speech earlier this year. She repeatedly shouted “liar” as Biden spoke, notably when he claimed that Republicans want to gut social security programs.
Biden later mocked Taylor Greene at an event in Virginia when he made the sign of the cross as he mentioned her name.
