‘Men of Color’ Favor Trump Over Biden 49-46%, CNN Poll Reveals

(ProsperNews.net) – According to a CNN poll, men of color favor Donald Trump over President Joe Biden for the 2024 election. The poll indicates that 49% of men of color support former president Donald Trump, with only 46% supporting President Biden. The poll shows a massive shift in the demographics for both candidates, as approximately 87% of black men voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. By contrast, only 12% of black men voted for Trump in the 2020 election. Another shift occurred in the Hispanic vote, as 50% of Hispanic men support Donald Trump compared to the 40% from 2020.

The shift in support indicates Biden’s declining popularity among usually Democratic voters, and while the majority of black voters still support President Biden, Trump is becoming more popular amongst diverse demographics and outperforms Biden in overall support from men of color. The poll results stem from over 1,200 voters with a 3.3% margin of error. The CNN survey serves as the latest poor polling performance for President Biden.

Trump isn’t only outperforming President Biden in diverse demographics, as key battleground states are polling in favor of Trump. According to a New York Times poll, Trump maintains a majority of the vote in five out of the six key battleground states. Wisconsin is the only state supporting Biden over the former president, with Biden only outperforming Trump by two percent. Some battleground states that voted for Biden in the 2020 election, like Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Michigan, now support Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign over Biden’s re-election bid.

On average, Biden trails Donald Trump by approximately four percent in the battleground states, and Trump dominates polls in rural areas nationwide.

President Biden claims the New York Times poll isn’t accurate and that 80% of polls prove he’s more popular than Donald Trump amongst American voters. The poll featured common criticisms regarding President Biden, specifically aimed at his age and lackluster economic policies. Another issue shared amongst the majority of voters is Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war, which many voters on both sides of the aisle are dissatisfied with.

President Biden isn’t worried about the polls and referred to a similar poll from 2012, which indicated that Barack Obama would lose re-election to Senator Mitt Romney. Although Biden’s team remains optimistic that the aging president will win re-election, polls show an uphill battle for the chief executive in next year’s election.
