Maui Resident Says Police Stopped Evacuations

(ProsperNews.net) – A resident on Maui said police prevented people from fleeing from the flames engulfing the island. The local, known as Fish, said when he investigated what was causing a long line of immobile traffic at the height of the crisis, he found that police officers were disallowing evacuation. “I was wondering what was stopping the traffic. Well, it was a policeman. And I got to the end, and I looked up north. There were no obstructions. There was no reason to keep those cars there,” he said.

Fish then asked officers what was happening and was told that the police were under orders to prevent people from leaving. When he warned officers that the action was placing people in peril, they again responded, “We’re under orders.”

Growing numbers of people are expressing theories surrounding the tragic events in Hawaii online. Many believe it was deliberately orchestrated to turn the island into an experimental digital 15-minute city. Suspicions were strengthened when Democratic Governor Josh Green announced that he intends to investigate purchasing the affected land. “I’m already thinking of ways for the state to acquire that land so that we can put it into workforce housing, to put it back into families, or make it open spaces in perpetuity as a memorial to the people who were lost,” Green said.

A Twitter user named Daniel Zeck asked Maui residents if it were true that a series of failures and errors occurred simultaneously, allowing the fires to wreak havoc and destroy the town of Lahaina – the worst affected area on the island. He asked if it was accurate that fire hydrants were dry, fire marshals were out of town, alarms did not go off, no firefighters were available, kids were sent home from school without notifying parents, and several other suspicious events.

One person replied showing detailed plans of a Japan-US Collaborative Smart Grid Demonstration Project, which named Maui as a “case study” for complete digitalization and strict population control.
