(ProsperNews.net) – More than 1 in 5 voters in the 2020 presidential election admitted that their ballots were filled out illegally. A survey from Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute found that in 21% of cases, voters allowed someone else to fill out their ballots, which is illegal throughout the United States. Additionally, a further 17% said they cast a vote in states where they no longer live.
Justin Haskins with the Heartland Institute said, “The results of this survey are nothing short of stunning.” He added that Americans are repeatedly told that the 2020 election was the most secure in history when, in fact, “the exact opposite is true.” Mr. Hawkins also stated that the study’s findings are not based on “conspiracy theories” but on voters’ admissions.
US Census Bureau findings reveal that a staggering 69% of voters cast their ballot in 2020 by “nontraditional means.” In other words, by mail-in ballot or before election day. This was partly due to restrictions and changes imposed by the Covid pandemic and was the highest figure for nontraditional voting in US history.
The conclusions of both surveys will likely lend credibility to the contention that some aspects of the 2020 election were fraudulent, as high percentages of Americans believe. A Monmouth poll in 2021 found that 30% of US voters were convinced that Joe Biden’s victory resulted from electoral fraud; by 2022, this figure had risen to 40%.
Former President Donald Trump continues to insist the vote was fraudulent despite lawsuits that accuse him of unlawfully attempting to overturn the election. The Republican party appears split over the issue, with some lawmakers backing Trump’s claim while others accuse him of dangerous rhetoric.
A contender in West Virginia’s gubernatorial elections is the latest Republican to back the former President. Secretary of State Mac Warner said the CIA stole the election with help from the FBI. He said federal agencies conspired to “sell a lie to the American people.”
