(ProsperNews.net) – White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre has been boasting about her role to journalists and even described herself as a “historic figure” who “cannot fail.” When she made the bizarre claim, she was speaking to Gerren Keith Gaynor, a representative of theGrio, a media company focused on African American issues.
In the revealing interview, Jean Pierre explains her job, which she says is described by some at the White House as the hardest job in the building. She is the spokesperson for the President, and she takes pride in being the first black person and the first LGBTQ person to fill that post.
“It’s the most pro-equality administration in history,” she declared. The secretary then went on to describe how the current administration is historical, and she is a historic figure who walks in history every day.
Karine Jean Pierre has been the White House Press Secretary for over a year. She was born in France to Haitian immigrant parents and is the first US immigrant to carry out the undoubtedly difficult task of dealing with the press on behalf of the President. She has previously served as deputy to Jen Psaki, the person who held the role before her, and she was chief of staff for Kamala Harris’s 2020 campaign. Her career has encompassed several positions in the media and within the Democratic Party.
Her family moved to New York when she was five years old, where her parents worked as a taxi driver and a home help aide. She graduated from Columbia University and lives in Washington, DC, with her partner and adopted daughter.
Sitting firmly on the left wing, Jean-Pierre claims that Donald Trump has mistreated black Americans, and she advocates more immigration, particularly from Haiti. First meeting Joe Biden during the Obama administration, Jean Pierre recounts how he spoke to her with “genuine interest” and was proud of his record working for women, as well as black and LGBT people.
