(ProsperNews.net) – Vice President and current Democrat selection for the 2024 presidential election Kamala Harris has a track record of making ridiculous circular statements and outright gaffes, just like President Joe Biden. Now Democratic insiders speaking with the corporate press anonymously have acknowledged that she’s dodging journalists and interviewers because the campaign publicity has thus far been really good.
Observers have noted that Biden similarly avoided interviews and press conferences during the 2020 election and suggested Harris may be deploying a similar strategy. Democrat consultant Christy Setzer speaking with corporate press suggested that Harris was demonstrating the lack of a need for press conferences and interviews, suggesting she already has the rapt attention of voters. She characterized Harris’ communications strategy as “robust.”
Harris totally dodged reporters’ questions on August 1; after a brief statement, she bolted into a waiting airplane.
Harris also accidently (or not) suggested she already was the president on August 2 during a eulogy for former Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee.
An anonymous Democrat suggested to the corporate press that Harris hasn’t had a single bad day yet, so there was no need to rock the boat with something like an interview where she could open herself to scrutiny of her radical record or make another embarrassing gaffe.
The GOP has already attacked her based on her extreme record, which includes policies like banning fracking at the national level, a single-payer health insurance policy for all Americans, and decreasing funding for border security. Her representatives have communicated to the media that she’s no longer advancing those positions, begging the question of how voters can trust her when she changes her ideology to whatever is trending.
Republicans are readily exposing her as a puppet-candidate with radical policy positions that she flips on the fly to maintain an appearance of being a moderate while actually holding extremely radical views in private. If she refuses to answer questions or sit for interviews and explain herself to the voting public, Trump’s campaign can simply present her record and previous statements.
