“A social media account run by Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has been repeatedly deceptive,” Dale wrote, referencing the @KamalaHQ account, which has more than 1.3 million followers. He noted its habit of selectively editing video clips and providing misleading captions to attack former President Donald Trump.
The @KamalaHQ account has remained dormant since November 5, when Harris officially lost the presidential race to Republican Donald Trump. Despite its inactivity, the targeted deletion suggests a deliberate response to Pool’s lawsuit rather than routine maintenance.
While Pool celebrated the resolution, the incident underscores the growing legal risks associated with unverified claims on social media, particularly in the high-stakes world of political discourse.
