(ProsperNews.net) – A federal judge has ordered the unsealing of records revealing the associates of the disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The documents will be made public in early January 2024, and Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee warned that “accountability is coming.”
Blackburn has long campaigned to release the names of high-profile people who used Epstein’s private plane to travel to his infamous island, where he is said to have abused underage girls. “Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, we’ve got to identify everyone who could have participated in his horrific conduct,” Blackburn said in November.
The order to unseal the records came from Manhattan judge Loretta Preska, who ruled that 170 names will be made public, but said some victims’ identities would remain anonymous. The judge stated that some of the names are already in the public domain, while others have previously only been referred to as “John Doe” or “Jane Doe.” Judge Preska gave 14 days for those on the list to appeal her ruling.
The brother of the United Kingdom’s King Charles III, Prince Andrew, is thought to be on the list and, according to some media reports, is “in torment” at the prospect. The Mail on Sunday reported an unnamed source as stating, “He is beside himself with this latest development, and everyone close to him is concerned for his mental well-being.” The source also noted that the Prince was upset at facing a Christmas without his beloved mother and now had to contend with his name being “dragged through the mud all over again.”
Prince Andrew is a known associate of Epstein and was accused of abusing teenage girls at the billionaire’s properties in the U.S. and on his private Caribbean island. The Prince has denied all wrongdoing.
The Mail on Sunday also states that the newly-released list will include the names of senior politicians, Wall Street bankers, business leaders and academics.
