Judge Authorizes Marshals to Intervene in Case of Trump’s Misconduct

(ProsperNews.net) – A legal expert told CNN that US District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan would authorize marshals to drag Donald Trump out of a New York courtroom if he “stepped one iota out of line.” Kaplan was overseeing new legal proceedings involving the former President and author E. Jean Carroll, who accused Trump of raping her in the 1990s.

Last September, a court held Trump liable for defaming Carroll after she made public sexual assault claims. The new proceedings determined damages, and Carroll was awarded $83 million.

While discussing what options Kaplan would have if Trump did anything wrong, a CNN panel suggested he would have a team of marshals ready to physically remove him from the courtroom.

Judge Kaplan had warned Trump he would be expelled if he disrupted proceedings by, for example, speaking loudly to his attorneys or undermining witness evidence. “Mr. Trump has the right to be present here. That right can be forfeited, and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive,” Kaplan said.

Trump replied that he would “love it” if he were thrown out, prompting a back-and-forth war of words between the two. Kaplan replied that he was aware the former President wanted to be ejected, and he was clearly unable to control himself. “Neither can you,” Trump hit back.

In a subsequent post on his Truth Social media account, Trump accused the “Clinton-appointed” judge of rudeness and bias and added, “That’s the way this crooked system works!”

Jean Carroll, who accused Trump of assault and won her civil claim last year, later said that the world does not need to be afraid of the former President. Speaking to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, she described Mr. Trump as “nothing” and said she would use her compensation funds to help women who have “been sexually assaulted by him.”

Carroll said that during her legal encounters with Trump, she began to realize that he was “emperor without clothes.”
