(ProsperNews.net) – A police officer in Texas was shot repeatedly by an illegal immigrant who was released by Border Patrol. The 25-year-old man from Venezuela is dead after he opened fire on police who were summoned to a San Antonio residence around 3 a.m. on July 29 over allegations of a domestic dispute turning violent.
The officer is expected to survive and endured emergency surgery after being shot multiple times by the suspect, Jorge Chacon-Gutierrez.
Corporate press are unclear on whether or not Chacon-Gutierrez was killed by return fire or if he took his own life during the ordeal. They did reveal that the suspect entered the country illegally in November 2023 and encountered law enforcement who released him thereafter in accordance with the lax border policies enacted by the Biden/Harris administration. His court date with an immigration judge was scheduled for some time in April 2026.
Chief of Police for San Antonio William McManus explained that the responding officers realized that a female had been assaulted by the suspect who was also her boyfriend. Officers found him on a bed with a rifle next to him which is when he opened fire. They retreated and SWAT then entered and found him dead.
Thankfully the woman wasn’t seriously injured.
Illegal immigrants have routinely cropped up in media headlines after engaging in violent crimes against Americans. Most women who suffer at their hands aren’t this lucky. The issue is a major point of contention and dramatically different policy proposals from Democrats and Republicans.
Vice President Kamala Harris wants to see all illegals nationalized and legally recognized as citizens whereas former President Donald Trump wants to deport them all back to their countries of origin.
Corporate press outlet Axios was recently caught by social media observers attempting to rewrite history regarding Harris holding the title of border czar under the Biden administration. The company attempted to push the lie that she never held the title despite its own previous reporting wherein it discussed her being given the title by the Biden administration.
