(ProsperNews.net) – A New York Post investigation has revealed that organizations owned by left-wing billionaire George Soros are funding pro-Hamas groups in the United States. The Open Society Foundation, which provides grants to political campaigns, has reportedly given more than $15 million to pro-Hamas organizations over the past seven years.
Most of the funding is funneled through an institution called the Tides Center, and it has given cash to the Adalah Justice Project, which posted Hamas-friendly images on Instagram on the day that the terror group murdered 1,400 civilians in Israel. The post stated, “Israeli colonizers believed they could indefinitely trap two million people in an open-air prison… no cage goes unchallenged.”
Base in Illinois, the Adalah Justice Project describes itself as a “Palestinian-led advocacy organization based in the US that builds cross-movement coalitions to achieve collective liberation.”
Soros’s foundations also gave $30,000 to Desis Rising Up and Moving, which organized a pro-Hamas rally in New York, and $60,000 to the Arab American Association of New York – a group founded and led by infamous anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour.
Sarsour has a long history of condemning Israel and describes the country as an expression of “Jewish supremacy.” She backs the so-called Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (DBS) movement and calls for a “one-state solution” and the destruction of the Jewish state.
In 2020, the Times of Israel newspaper reported that Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign disavowed Ms. Sarsour after she endorsed him for President. Andrew Bates, a Biden campaign spokesman, said Biden “obviously condemns her views and opposes BDS.” However, reporters later discovered that Ashley Allison, national coalition director for the Biden campaign, apologized for the criticisms of Sarsour.
Another recipient of Soros’s cash is the Jewish Voice for Peace group that accuses Israel of “occupation and apartheid” and says the United States is complicit in the oppression of Palestinians by continuing to support the Jewish state.
George Soros is a Hungarian-born Jew and Holocaust survivor with a personal fortune of around $7 billion.
