(ProsperNews.net) – Staunch Trump ally Jason Miller described Joe Biden as weak and incompetent but warned that a Kamala Harris Presidency would be even worse. The attorney, who has supported Trump through his numerous legal battles, speculated on the possibility of a Michelle Obama White House but dismissed the idea, saying the Obamas are content just being super rich.
Speaking to Newsmax, Mr. Miller said criticisms and concerns surrounding Joe Biden’s age won’t have any impact because the President is “stubborn.” He added, however, that talk of Biden stepping down makes him even more nervous because that would mean Harris. “For as weak and incompetent as Joe Biden is, imagine if the reins were handed over to Kamala Harris. That is a scary thought,” he said.
Furthermore, Miller said that Donald Trump is buoyed by recent polls showing him beating Biden convincingly. A Harvard-Harris survey in mid-August saw Trump defeat President Biden by 45% to 40%. Against Vice President Harris, Trump was ahead by 47% to 38%. In the same poll, 68% of voters said Joe Biden is too old to serve another term. If elected in 2024, Biden will be 86 at the end of his second stint in the White House. He is already the oldest President in history.
Regarding issues, 3 out of 4 voters say they’ve suffered because of inflation, and the majority consider this the most crucial topic in the election.
In separate polls, including by the Economist and the Wall Street Journal, Trump defeats Biden by a narrow 1%. In a Reuters poll from August 24, Donald Trump defeated President Biden by 38% to 32%. With the former President out of the race, Biden trounces Ron DeSantis by 43% to 39%.
President Trump also dominates the GOP primaries, and his lead is growing. A CNN poll placed him on 52% to Ron DeSantis’ 18%. Nikki Haley has climbed to third place with 7% and shows ratings as high as 10% in some surveys.
