(ProsperNews.net) – An attorney for one of Donald Trump’s Georgia co-defendants has accused prosecuting District Attorney Fani Wilis of committing a felony by illegally recording a phone call. Christopher Kachouroff, who represents Harrison Floyd, said Willis recorded a call with a Maryland colleague without his consent. He noted that in Maryland, this is a felony.
Harrison Floyd reported the claims on Twitter, calling Ms. Willis a “DEI thug with a law license.” DEI refers to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which many conservatives believe elevates people of color to senior positions based on their race rather than merit.
Floyd was a staffer on Donald Trump’s 2020 Presidential campaign and pleaded not guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges filed by Willis.
The recording came to light when Ms. Willis provided a copy to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It revealed Willis speaking to Carlos Salvado, Floyd’s attorney, in an unrelated Maryland case. Willis described sending a representative to meet Mr. Floyd at a Fulton County jail, adding that he had refused a consent bond.
Mr. Floyd subsequently tweeted, “I don’t want to put a black woman in jail,” but unless Willis recuses herself, he will have no choice but to pursue the matter. Additionally, Floyd, who is black, said Willis hates white people and believes he is a race traitor for siding with white supremacy, as evidenced by his political beliefs and support of Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, the ex-wife of Willis’s lover, Nathan Wade, has filed a suit against him, accusing him of contempt of court. Joycelyn Wade accuses her ex-husband of reneging on a promise to pay her medical expenses as court-ordered during their divorce. The court ordered Mr. Wade to pay his wife’s medical bills directly to the provider, but he later asked her to pay the fees herself, and he would reimburse her.
Mr. Wade is also accused of discontinuing financial support for the couple’s daughter after telling her he would no longer cover her medical school and living expenses.
