FAA’s Plan to Reduce White Male Pilots, Revealed by Walsh

(ProsperNews.net) – The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) is enacting policies to keep white males out of its workforce, according to conservative commentator Matt Walsh. Mr. Walsh posted video clips on his Twitter account showing an internal FAA meeting during which deputy chief operating officer Angela McCullough stated that the workforce is too white and she wants to see more baggage handlers promoted to pilot positions.

David Wil Riggins, the FAA’s vice president of Flight Program Operations, responded enthusiastically, saying, “That’s great, honestly.”

The FAA is under increasing scrutiny for its hiring and safety policies, and Matt Walsh claims that people working in the aviation industry regularly contact him to say that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies are putting passengers in danger.

In January, it emerged that the agency was actively seeking employment applications from people with “severe intellectual disabilities,” psychiatric problems, and other mental and physical conditions. The FAA hires staff to work in air traffic control and similar roles that would usually require robust psychological and physical health.

The federal agency’s website states that it welcomes applications from people with sight impairments, missing extremities, and even “complete paralysis.” The FAA says the employment policies are essential because “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel.”

In 2021, the White House issued an executive order demanding DEI hiring throughout federal agencies. President Biden boasted that he signed the order on his first day in office to advance “equity, civil rights, racial justice, and equal opportunity.” The order states that members of the “underserved” community must be targeted for employment, and such people are defined as those who have been “systematically denied” opportunities in the past. It describes “equity” as the fair, just, and equal treatment of those from “underserved communities.”

Mr. Walsh, however, argues that fairness is not the objective and cites the employment of a transgender pilot whom colleagues say would not pass the probation period if not for their trans status.
