Cosmopolitan Publishes Guide on Performing Satanic Abortion Ceremony

(ProsperNews.net) – The iconic women’s magazine Cosmopolitan has published an article advising women on how they can obtain a ritualized abortion at an organization named after Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. Shared on the publication’s Instagram page, the article provides tips on acquiring a Satanic-themed abortion at “Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.”

Citing the experience of a woman named Jessica, the 37-year-old mother reportedly had a “very supportive” experience at the clinic, and while “she’s not a Satanist,” she nevertheless decided to “incorporate a few ceremonial elements into her solo abortion experience.”

The Instagram post included slides with recommendations on conducting the “ceremony” with abortion pills at home, and advised women to look at themselves in the mirror before taking the pills, and saying aloud, “One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.” The process concludes with the statement, “By my body, my blood; by my will, it is done.”

On its website, Cosmopolitan tells a fictionalized story about Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s mother and how things would be different in today’s America if she had opted for an abortion instead of giving birth to Mr. Alito. It promotes Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic, based in New Mexico, which provides abortion pills for $91 and is run by members of The Satanic Temple (TST).

The article claims TST has 1.5 million members worldwide and does not consist of people who believe in Satan as an evil deity but rather as a fictional character symbolizing rebellion and autonomy. “Followers champion science, religious diversity, and the separation of church and state,” it says.

TST’s own website contains an advert for the abortion clinic, as well as details about a petition demanding that the state of Texas “recognize the religious right to perform abortion post-Roe.” The group filed a lawsuit against the Lone Star State in 2021, insisting that abortion is a religious right and is, therefore, Constitutionally protected. A federal court rejected the suit in July.
