(ProsperNews.net) – The Department of Defense (DOD) is increasing spending on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and by 2024, it will have spent around $270 million. In the fiscal year 2022, the DOD shelled out $68 million, rising to $86.5 million in 2023. Next year, it is set to spend a further $114 million.
The Defense Department’s strategic management plan for 2022 to 2026 names one of its goals as inculcating “DEIA principles across all DOD efforts.” Among the spending plans are expanding training programs to teach military personnel the importance of diversity, including training in “unconscious bias.” Psychologists describe unconscious bias as “unconscious forms of discrimination and stereotyping based on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, ability, age, and so on.”
Experts say the concept is central to critical race theory, which purports that all white people are guilty of racial oppression and prejudice, even when they are not aware of it.
The conservative media outlet The Daily Wire recently investigated the National Security Agency (NSA) spending and uncovered a 34-page document outlining some of the expenditure priorities of the DOD’s intelligence unit.
The document describes “whiteness” as a “broad social construction that embraces the white culture, history, ideology, racialization, expressions, experiences, epistemology, emotions and behaviors.” According to DOD teaching and belief, white people use this “broad social construction” to reap economic, political, and structural benefits for themselves.
Furthermore, the document reveals DOD adherence to radical gender ideology, including the notion that men and women can change their gender, and some people may have no gender at all. “Ze” and “zir” are noted as “gender-neutral” pronouns, and the term “genderqueer” is used to replace gay or lesbian, which are now believed to have negative connotations.
Shockingly, America’s founding fathers are denigrated in the paper, and white Americans referred to as colonial settlers. It describes the US as a “white European occupation of land.”
Upon seeing the document, Republican Rep. Mike Waltz said, “I just can’t overemphasize how shocking this is.”
