(ProsperNews.net) – President Biden appeared confused during a Pennsylvania radio interview and described himself as the first black woman Vice President. Speaking to WURD host Andrea Lawful-Sanders, the President said he was proud to be the “first Vice President, first black woman, to serve with a black President.” He later spoke of growing up Catholic in Delaware, “in an area where we didn’t like Catholics,” adding, “I’m the first President that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware when I was a kid.”
Republicans seized on the latest gaffe and took to social media to post the clip. Twitter users responded saying Biden is incapable of seeing out another term and Democrats must encourage him to retire. A former strategist claimed that the Democratic Party is guilty of “criminal negligence” for continuing with Biden as its candidate. Peter Daou wrote, “Make it stop.”
The President has undertaken several media interviews since the recent Presidential debate in Atlanta, which was largely viewed as a disaster. Appearing to struggle to gather his thoughts, the President mumbled and at points was incomprehensible, prompting public panic from many Democrats and supporters. In subsequent interviews, Biden insisted he is in good health and able to complete another Oval Office term. He conceded that this body is not as fit as it once was, but his thinking is clear.
Addressing the latest gaffe, campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said it was obvious that the President meant he was proud to work with the first black woman Vice President, and that he did not believe he was a black woman himself. “This would be considered a perfectly normal speech pattern for any other person in America,” Moussa said.
Media commentators around the world, however, are sounding alarm, with many saying the Democrats are a party in crisis. A prominent British newspaper described Biden as “meandering and muddled,” while Chinese commentators said the candidates presented very different visions during their “reality show.” A French headline read, “Biden Stumbles, Trump Lies.”
