(ProsperNews.net) – Missouri’s Attorney General has asked the Department of Justice to hand over all communications related to Donald Trump’s prosecutions. In a lengthy Twitter post, Andrew Bailey said he believes the Biden administration has orchestrated the prosecutions and that the Justice Department serves as “headquarters.” Mr. Bailey demanded access to all related documents, including communications between Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Brag and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Bailey claimed to have seen new evidence to convince him that the movement of Matthew Colangelo from the Justice Department to the Manhattan DA’s office months before it filed charges against Trump occurred with the prior intent to prosecute the former President. He furthermore alleged that Alvin Bragg worked alongside Letitia James with the singular purpose of “going after” Donald Trump. Finally, Bailey contends that President Biden was aware of and “coordinated” the prosecution of his Presidential election opponent.
The Missouri Republican confirmed that he had filed a Freedom of Information Request with the Justice Department and stated that it required information not only related to Mr. Bragg and Ms. James but also to communications between the Department and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Special Counsel Jack Smith. All four are pursuing criminal cases against the former President.
Matthew Colangelo is the attorney currently leading the charge against Donald Trump in a Manhattan courtroom. The former President is on trial for falsifying documents to influence the 2016 Presidential election. Trump’s then-attorney, Michael Cohen, paid an adult film star, Stormy Daniels, to keep quiet about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump.
Colangelo delivered opening prosecution statements days before reporters published Federal Election Commission records showing he had previously worked for the Democratic National Committee and the Obama administration.
Mr. Bailey said the Trump prosecution in Manhattan was dead and buried until Colangelo, a firm anti-Trump Democrat, moved from the Justice Department to the Manhattan DA’s office, accepting a demotion to do so.
